Geyikbayiri is one of the largest sports climbing areas in Antalya, Turkey. The crag itself is located 30 km from the busy tourist city of Antalya, with the only "tourists" being rock climbers! The main crag is 1.5 km long, and there are more than 1000 sport climbing routes from 5a to 8c+, in more than 20 sectors across all grades. The style of limestone climbing is very diverse; you can find crimps, pockets, jugs, cracks, under clings, and tufas in both vertical walls and overhanging walls.
Flights are offered direct to Istanbul from major airports around the world. From there, it is a short connection to Antalya. We'll be based 25km away from Antalya, where ground transportation is covered and you will be collected from the airport by the team.
Our home for the week is conveniently just a stone throw away to the rock climbing sectors Poseidon, Ottoman, Mevlana, Barbarossa, Aladdin and Echoes.
Peak Guesthouse’s gorgeous grounds include a large terrace, a homely bar and restaurant, accompanied by very friendly staff. We’ll enjoy home-cooked breakfast and dinner together with freshly prepared local ingredients. True to our mission of connecting everyone within this wonderful sport, we book bungalows to share for the week. It comes complete with electricity, beds, linens, furnishings and a private bathroom.
FAQs
So that everyone can enjoy this climbing retreat to the max, we ask that you're able to top rope and belay your buddy safely and independently. If you've only climbed indoors before, we'll soon get you enjoying the beautiful outdoors. Don't worry, your guides will always be on hand to help you when needed.
Your transport to and from the airport in Antalya is provided as a group. We also plan to stop on the way to buy lunch snacks for the coming days. Individual transport however can be arranged at an extra cost.
There are several flights arriving daily into Antalya, so once we know your departure locations we can recommend flights closer to everyone's arrival time. Therefore, kindly reach out to us with your confirmation so that we can arrange the logistics as soon as possible.
If you'd like to rent gear, kindly let us know in advance. Equipment is available at an extra cost.
The climbing season in Turkey, like all its sister countries around the Middle East, begins from October to May. It can get quite chilly from Autumn, so pack warm clothes with you.

Intro to climbing

Our brief agenda
With four to five days of climbing included, we’ll start our days with a casual breakfast including coffee or tea before heading to the crags nearby and giving you a brief intro about each climbing sector we approach. Climbers will be paired at similar levels so everyone can enjoy their climbs. Whenever you feel you’d like to rest or have a break, you can always walk back to camp.
Our rest day includes a gentle morning flow on the terrace where you’ll have the remainder of the day off to yourself. You can choose to do a solo hike and explore the area around the camp or bring out the wilderness within you and take an ice cold dip in the natural rivers of the forest. Also optional at your own cost, if you would like to explore the city or maybe book a spa day at the Turkish Hamam.
Feel free to reach out for a detailed program and keep your eyes open for early bird packages.
